4. Volunteer Engagement

Danjuma Charity Foundation offers opportunities for individuals to apply as volunteers to support our mission. By applying for or participating in our volunteer programs, you agree to the following:

  • No Employment Relationship: Participation as a volunteer does not create an employment contract, partnership, or joint venture between you and the Foundation. Volunteers are not entitled to salary, health benefits, or worker’s compensation.

  • Confidentiality: Volunteers may have access to sensitive information regarding our beneficiaries, donors, or internal operations. You agree to maintain strict confidentiality and not disclose any such information to third parties without written consent.

  • Code of Conduct: Volunteers are expected to represent the Foundation professionally and ethically. Any behavior that undermines our mission or reputation—including harassment, fraud, or illegal acts—is grounds for immediate termination of your volunteer status.

  • Image Release: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, by participating in Foundation events, you grant us the right to use photographs or video recordings of your volunteer activities for promotional, social media, or reporting purposes.

  • Assumption of Risk: While we prioritize safety, volunteering for certain field activities may involve inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and assume these risks and agree that Danjuma Charity Foundation is not liable for personal injury or loss of property during volunteer service.

5. Donations and Payment Processing

Danjuma Charity Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). We accept voluntary donations to fund our charitable activities.

  • Payment Processors: We currently utilize Paystack to process payments. By donating, you also agree to be bound by Paystack’s terms of service. Future integrations, such as PayPal, will be subject to their respective terms once active.

  • No Sales: This website does not sell physical or digital goods. All financial contributions are considered voluntary donations.

  • Refund Policy: As these are charitable donations, refunds are generally not provided unless a technical error occurred during the transaction. Please contact us immediately if you believe an error has been made.
